The Vinyl Resting Place Radio
This will be a new and exciting Internet radio station commencing broadcasting 15 September 2008.
Wanted
Presenters with the ability to play good music, interview the public and celebrities. You do not need experience, just a personality and enthusiasm. Only apply if you can entertain the listeners.
Age, sex, religion, will not be taken into consideration. So if you are an 18 year old girl in possession of her grandad’s war diaries and you want to share them with the world, please apply !!

Pirate Radio 1/2 hour(facto, anecdotes, interviews, etc)

About the Station
Each presenter will have an email link from the website, plus photos and MySpace link.
You will be able to use your own landline phone (not mobile) on your shows. The station will be monitored 24hrs a day and will have it’s own telephone number.
Sponsorship is the presenter’s responsibility. No percentage will be taken by the station.
Corporate and small adverts will run intermittently through any show (permission required where appropiate)
You will be able to advertise on your own show.
All programmes must be broadcast on MP3 format at 59 minutes per show with a dead stop, no fadeouts.
Spoof adverts will be available from British and US 70’s adverts. No cigarettes or alcohol adverts will be allowed,
Also no swearing or racist remarks or degrading comments will be tolerated. Any breach of station rules will result in your show being terminated permanently.
Station jingles of The Vinyl Resting Place or The Vinyl Resting Place Radio (made in the USA) will be played.
Presenters who require shouts or jingles will be able to purchase them from us at £30 per shout (maximum of eight words).
Also sung jingles at approx £150. Re-sungs please email for details. Allow six weeks for delivery. Jingles can only be used on Internet stations.
Provisional Show Days
Sunday – Gospel, Easy, Comedy, 70’s Rock, Folk, Jazz.
Saturday – Glam Rock, Handbag, 70’s, 80’s Disco
Monday – Friday – TBA
Please remember all shows should also contain other materials, ie, anecdotes, interviews, handy tips, poetry, jokes, discussion, memories, ect.
